Training 2021-2022
Training offer 2021-2022
We are delighted to confirm our training offer for this academic year. We have decided to focus on 4 key strands this year and we will offer two available dates for each strand. The strands are:
- Preparing for your inspection. Headteachers who are due an inspection have found this particularly helpful. B11 will be leading the training days with a specific focus on the ‘Quality of Education’ expectations.
- Keeping the curriculum creative. We have secured both Debra Kidd and Mary Myatt to deliver some high-quality training sessions to support both middle and senior leaders in developing their curriculum offer.
- Early Years. Rachel Jacobs is going to lead two training days to support leaders in the continued development of the new EY curriculum and how this fits with national curriculum expectations.
- Behaviour – Marie Gentles (OBE) will deliver two ½ day sessions to share her insight into how to support children in their personal development and behaviour journey. She has recently advised schools on BBC’s ‘Don’t Exclude Me’ documentary.

Booking
Members will be able to book via Google Forms and flyers with more detail will follow. Each training session can accommodate up to 30 participants. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and one member of staff per school will be allocated a place. However, should numbers be lower than expected, more than one person can attend.
